The conference will have state of the art discussions in selected modern areas of physics of materials. The speakers will be researchers of international repute. The topics will include: (a) Graphene and related Carbon materials; (b) Molecular materials; (c) Oxide heterostructures and related issues; (d) Spintronics and related issues and (e) Quantum dots and nanowires.

The conference participation is by invitation only.  Ph. D students and young researchers (below 40 years) working in these areas who would like to participate in the conference can apply, before October 7th, 2009 , to :
